Name:
Grimmjow JaggerJack
Gender:
Male
Age:
Unknown
Number:
6
Current Residence:
Las Noches Nuevas
Physical Description:
.Grimmjow appears to be a younger looking arrancar who is thin and muscular. His body is a tall and mesomorphic shape, broader at the shoulders and smaller at the waist. With longer than normal legs, he is both agile and adept on his feet. His upper body also appears to be very physically fit and well trained.
Grimmjow often appears as a crude, but not utterly unattractive, person. Most of the time, especially during battles, one can find Grimmjow with a menacing smile, almost like the smile of a murderer before he is about to murder his victim. His sadistic smile is one of the better-known qualities of his personality as well. This characteristic of his make him look much like Zaraki Kenpachi when he is in battle.
Grimmjow wears a light jacket-vest and long pants. The light jacket is used to not weigh him down, while the long, almost robe-like pants are made of a light material so that Grimmjow may be quick on his feet. A distinguishing battle scar comes across his chest, which was given to him by Ichigo during the 2nd confrontation between the two of them. The scar has mostly healed but not completely, so it is still visible.
Grimmjow’s hollow hole is right at the lower center of his abdominal muscles. The placement is much like that of many other ordinary hollows who usually tend to have their holes in the center or lower center of their body. Grimmjow’s remaining hollow mask is on the bottom right side of his face. The mask partially covers his mouth and curves upward like a smile. Unlike many of the arrancar seen before, Grimmjow’s mask seemed to have been removed going downward from the top of his head and finally reaching his mouth. The mask, with the appearance in the shape of a smile, is nearly twice as large as Grimmjow’s actual mouth.
Personality:
Grimmjow has a mentality very similar to Zaraki Kenpachi’s. Much like the 11th Division captain, Grimmjow often desires to fight anything and anyone who comes in his way. Many times he chooses to disobey the orders of his superiors in order to find someone to fight. In many ways, Grimmjow is more independent than the other Espada because of his individuality and rash decision-making.
When Grimmjow’s interest is piqued, he tends to seek his object regardless of the circumstance (such as when he was determined to face Ichigo again). Often he desires to fight careless of whether or not his opponent is stronger than him. He is both relentless and ruthless, but he is not interested in fighting weaklings, and would much rather fight challenging opponents (such as his preference to fight Ichigo over Rukia). Weak people, to him, are only a waste of air. His strongly believes in the concept of survival of the fittest.
When Grimmjow fights, he is determined to crush his opponent as much as possible. He primarily only focuses on the fight and usually cannot accept a stalemate or draw. Holding a mind similar to that of Ichigo, only not wanting to protect others, Grimmjow is often blind to his situation and seeks to fight his opponent as best as he can, but also fully intends to win the fight. He does not allow himself to accept defeat easily and, like Ichigo, has a powerful moral and mental resolve to win every single battle, every single time.
He is often independent and self-sufficient when it comes to making decisions. Grimmjow is a perfect example of an arrancar that never intended to stand by Aizen, much like a shinigami who never intended to stay in Soul Society. The only reason he has ever stayed with Aizen is fear of being executed. But regardless of his fears, he realizes that he must become stronger so that he may live free of Aizen’s restraints.
History:
Grimmjow’s found several other hollows like him in Hueco Mundo, but never truly felt at home in this location. The place mirrored the empty thoughts and desires that had wandered through him when he was still a human, and for that reason, the baron plains of the hollow oasis were no different.
However, he did seem to enjoy killing and attacked several hollows so that he could prove his strength. Day by day, his thirst for human souls diminished, and his desire to further his name among the vile breed of hollows became clear. Eventually, his true form began to show, as he became a hollow who desired, more than anything else, to fight against his own kind as opposed to the shinigami that he considered to be weaklings.
In time, Grimmjow had killed several other hollows and added their spiritual energies to his own (similar to how a Gillian are a pile-up of hollows). He found the quest for power to be interesting, and no longer took interest in taking out the weak. After he learned about the Vasto Lorde, he was quick to set his mind about becoming one of these almighty hollows.
When Aizen returned from Soul Society, he discovered that Grimmjow had defeated hundreds of hollows in the southern area of Hueco Mundo. Upon meeting Aizen, Grimmjow could sense his intensely strong reiatsu. Grimmjow quickly leapt forth and attacked Aizen, who easily deflected his attack. Aizen, however, did not kill Grimmjow immediately for this action. Instead, he took a deep interest in Grimmjow’s eagerness to destroy, and thought that he would be an excellent addition to his hollow army. After several tests of strength and skill, Aizen found Grimmjow to be a suitable match for the Hougyoku, and turned him into an arrancar.
His evolution involved a mixture of emotions, ones that he had never felt before and ones that he personally hated. In becoming a shinigami, he was exposed to feelings such as empathy and kindness, in which case he would only acknowledge there existence but not accept as part of his values. With the Hougyoku, he had physically evolved into a hollow-shinigami hybrid, but mentally and emotionally, he still remained the savage and independent being that he had been since birth.
For now, the majority of his time in Hueco Mundo has been a search for greater and more powerful hollows; that way, he may destroy them and become closer to being a Vasto Lorde. As of this point, he only seeks some of the most powerful beings to inhabit the place, feeling that those who are far too weak for him don’t even deserve his time. Of course, Grimmjow is also very careful to leave immediately after any form of attack he makes in the hollow realm, fearing that Aizen may come after him.
Grimmjow chooses not to enter Soul Society all too often. Often Grimmjow only attempts to test his strength here when he is in the mood for destroy a large amount shinigami; otherwise, it would be senseless to come here since his hollow reiatsu would be detected instantly. Grimmjow has also come a few times when hollows have invaded Seireitei, that way he will appear no different than the other hollows.

He can also fire a large number of "darts" from his elbows with enough force to demolish large buildings, as well as creating energy claws from his fingertips.
